For brown school shoes, we recommend Jilly Beans (www.brownschoolshoes.co.uk), Start-rite, John Lewis, Harrods, Pollyanna (Fulham Road), Trotters (High Street Kensington), One Small Step (Notting Hill) and Papouelli (Belgravia and Marylebone). Shoes must be brown and must be lace-up, with the exception of shoes for Nursery and Reception boys who may have Velcro or buckles.

Football boots and shin pads are compulsory (for boys in Reception to Form 3). They should have plastic moulded studs, not metal ones. Boots may be purchased from Stevensons (the school uniform supplier) or from any other supplier. In drier weather, Astroturf boots will suffice but the boys must have studded boots when playing on damp ground.

General appearance
Boys’ hair should be above the collar and although ears may be covered, the hair length should not be below the ears. Eyes should be free of hair when a boy is sitting down to work. This is to a large extent a practical requirement to curtail the spread of nits. No jewellery is permitted in School.
