Inspections
The School was first inspected by the Independent Schools' Inspectorate in May 2002 when it was seeking membership of IAPS (Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools). In January 2002, IAPS modified its rules so that membership could be extended to pre-prep schools (3 – 8 years).
Hawkesdown House was the first freestanding pre-prep school in the country to be accepted for membership of IAPS.
The School was inspected again in May 2009 and we were delighted with the positive outcomes. The recommendations (all minor!) made by the Inspection team have been addressed in full.
