Hawkesdown House prepares boys for entry to the main London and other preparatory schools. Examinations for these schools are usually at aged 8 when the boys are in Year 3. The process of choosing the next school starts informally in Year 1.
The Headmistress talks to parents by Year Group to explain the process and is always available to discuss the options for an individual boy. Heads of schools to which Hawkesdown House sends boys are invited to the School each year for an informal evening of questions and answers.
The Headmistress can advise and reassure parents throughout the process and with her particular knowledge of the boys and her excellent relationships with the Heads of Prep Schools, she is always able to give parents sound advice.
Hawkesdown House School is proud of its success in sending boys to the school of their choice.
